YES, THERE IS A CAUSE!
One night the Lord stood by my bed side and asked me one deep question that I was unprepared for. I was still a youth then just barely understanding purpose and cause. The Lord asked me
'son, what do you want most out of this life'
How could I have known the weight of that question at such a greenish age?
Looking back today and casting a gaze into the future still ahead of me, I would really say it was worth all the price of the wilderness experiences that was laid upon me. Yes it was worth it all. For the depth of life and living became more unveiled to my view amidst the facade of vain and erroneous knowledge based on that which goes not beyond the circle of time.
Today I know more than I could ever tell that it could no longer be about me. It was never to be about me and it will never be about me. In the final analysis when all is said and done, after time ceases and the drama fades away, when there is no more for all mortals to ever imagine anymore, when the silver and the gold are trampled upon foot, then the cause would crystallise before all faces.
Now I know!
There is a cause!
Yes there is a cause why I was born to the lineage and race and people that I was born to.
Yes there is a cause why I was born into the generation in which I was born.
Yes there is a cause why I am an Igbo and a Biafran.
Yes there was a cause why my people were massacred and marked for annihilation.
Yes there is a cause why they are stirred up to be restored and healed.
Yes there is a cause which no one fully understands that stares each of us in the face while we hide our heads in the sand as ostriches.
Yes there was a cause that beckoned, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Ruth, Esther, Samuel, David, Elijah and a host of others.
There was a cause that beckoned Nnamdi Kanu #NnamdiKanu #Biafra
There is a cause!
