BETWEEN FRONTIERS AND NEW VISTAS

I have known that no one can have it all and that no one can see it all or experience it all in this one life. So I have purposed to do but only one thing – to keep on pressing and reaching forth to that which is beyond reach and to actualize that which has no descriptive parlance.  I have a quest and an insatiable hunger for something deeper in that earnest pursuit of the goal of life. I long to know the very author of life and the mystery of life, knowing as I have gleaned from the book of life that life does not consist in the abundance of things which a man may possess but in the very fullness of the knowledge of the mystery that is hid deep in the bosom of the One who is unnameable and indescribably indefinable.
My gaze is lost in the haze of the moment and I am at a loss for words indeed that we all get into the same forgetfulnesses that are the plague of the children of men.
Those who were here yesterday are gone today and those who are here today shall be sought for tomorrow and those who shall be here tomorrow shall be gone the day after. What then do we seek after becomes the question? Now I am awake to an illumination that until my normal becomes abnormal and my soul cries after that which calls from the ages afar, then and only then shall my frontiers become doorways into new vistas.
Hey I am trapped here between the frontiers and the new vistas. What I have not seen beckons to me and the voice I have not heard calls my name. I am known and I am seen but I know not and I see not. I am between the frontiers and new vistas. Hope is alive and well!  I am reaching forth today more than I ever did yesterday. Now I must do all I can do, give all I can give and take all I can take. Yet in this I know I can still not be able to do it all or give it all or take it all. Oh how He has set the world in the hearts of the children of men –

“I have seen the travail which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no one can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end” – Ecclesiastes 3: 10 – 11

I have learned a lesson and I have learned it with all my heart. Nothing matters more than to be in rhythm with the Spirit himself.  This is the golden rule and the rhythm that takes us beyond the frontiers into the new vistas.

“And they shall see his face and his name shall be in their foreheads” – Revelation 22: 4

To Nene my baby! You taught me love. You said to me “Daddy I love you more than I love myself”

And to all who love His appearing!
Shalom
