JUST IMAGINE!

Just imagine being in Egypt at the time of Moses and frustrating every move of your people to leave Egyptian bondage simply because you feel safe, secure and connected to the power of Pharaoh and Egypt.

Just imagine you making a mockery of the exodus project because the Egyptian media could only make you see the hopelessness of such venture.

Just imagine you were so prosperous and living so comfortably  that the thought of leaving your Egyptian friends and masters whom you trade  and do very lucrative business with could jeopardize your business empire and friendship.

Just imagine you carrying out a campaign of ignorance and calumny and saying how can we start talking of exodus and whether we do really know or have an idea of where we are really going.

Just imagine you have intermarried and your children have all intermarried and there were mixed marriages in your lineage, then you become so selfishly alligned in such a way as to call your Moses and your people reckless day dreamers because of the huge millitary might of Egypt that was then a World empirical power.

Just imagine you being deceived and paid huge and staggering sums of money or offered an oil block or gargantuan contract and told to go sell out your people, cause divisions and raise a contrary band to this Moses madness.

Just imagine you being in Egypt at that time and being so assimilated into Egyptian life and customs that you just could no longer identify with your hebrew race and history and because of so much labeling and stigmatizatoon you have distanced yourself from your own race and blood.

Just imagine you being in Egypt and you decided the exodus was not for you simply because you saw no wisdom in it and it were all better we all stay united with those with whom we share no historical and prophetic destiny instead of the wild goose chase of seeking a new nation somewhere.

Just imagine you being stuck back in Egypt on the night of the exodus saying to yourself that this is suicide for your people because you were confident and assured in your wisdom they have no might to withstand the crushing death blow the Egyptian armed forces will deal to them and the hopelessness of a venture that could possibly lead to destruction.

Just imagine you expecting to hear the evil news of how they were massacred by the rampaging forces mustered against them after the exodus instead you were hushed by the news of Pharaoh and his chariots and all the horsemen of Egypt being sunk in the midst of the Red Sea when the Eternal Living One who  is the headman before the people showed his face against Pharaoh.

Just imagine realizing too late that no matter how hard you tried Egypt will still not be your homeland and that you have flirted with your destiny and the destiny of all your generations.

Just imagine that you now wish after all is said and done to seek to be reckoned with your people, but deep in your conscience  you will never ever be the same again. For the heavens and the earth will only record you among those who betrayed his own flesh and blood, abandoned his own race in the time of great affliction because of his comfort and false security.

Just imagine when the roll shall be called and your lot is not found among your people and race. You shall be like a forgotten owl in the wilderness with no idea of the way to his homeland.

What shall you be able to do then? Would you still be welcomed in the house of your slave masters?

To the "efulefus" and those who refused to reason or see the handwriting on the wall.
