My thoughts have been very deep in consonance with my experiences.

My journeys have been long and hard as one traveling to where the road meets the sky.

If I could change a thing, then what it could be I know not.

Everything works out a mystery plan or purpose. Day and night, cold and heat and the seasons, all tell the same story from age to age that nothing here is forever.

While our human experiences endure we will always remember the one against the other and the other against the one. Then I thought out loud upon my bed “O that there was no evil in the world and that wickedness was never conceived neither did the crooked serpent exist”.

 Again I reasoned how would we value joy if we never knew pain or agony or sorrow or how can one appreciate the honeycomb if there never was a bitter essence? What if there were no clouds and no rain? Was there ever something before nothing or was it nothing before something?

Why did he make him a coat of many colors for the one whose feet they hurt with fetters, and whose soul was laid in iron and separated from his brethren? Was the coat of many colors supposed to cover many sorrows or did the coat of many colors invest many sorrows upon his soul for the one whom the heavens have adorned?

Why does our heart flutter when our soul is in agony?  Why does the soul of man weather so much pain and bruises in that unheard cry of the spirit? Someone please try answering me if you know!

 

Remodeling faith!

Numbers 14:28
Never disqualify yourself whenever God has qualified you and never judge yourself unworthy when He has made you worthy. There are lines and rules of engagement or covenant beyond which God can not go. Destinies are never rewritten to suit our inclinations. We all need wisdom and understanding of times to be in cadence with the Spirit of God. 

The days of our lives are diminished faithfully by the seconds and the minutes that fly past in our obliviousness. We have in these days and time redefined and remodeled the Kingdom of God contrary to the eternal pattern and knowledge. It is a brand new religion altogether so modernized that the saints of old and the angels weep. 

We love now to have it our own way. We are now no more a threat to the great adversary as his grand design was to make us believe we have gotten him cornered when the reverse is the case.
These are the thoughts the Lord has laid upon me this break of day.

The Mystery of Love! Part 2

Someone wrote this:

"Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is! Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, and it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your roots should grow towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms fall from your branches you find that you're one tree and not two!!—"

This is true to a large extent. The mystery of love is found in the very essence of divinity. Love takes watchful possession of the object of its affection so we can say that Jealousy is another term for love. So love also called jealousy is the expression of the inexorable force and ardor of the affection which can neither yield or share possession of its object and which can be likened to the divine nature or true life of God.

Love is a divine principle translated and communicated to the soul of man for expression and enjoyment. It is that which they that have not experienced it in its purity dwell in the poverty of the robbers of the human race. It is the elemental principle of all true beings and overcomes in all its might all opposing agencies whatsoever.

“Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.  Many waters cannot quench love; neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.” – Songs 8:6-7

From this we can see that even love as a human affection must be reverenced and treasured deeply when it is expressed so as not to be bought of anything of a different nature as this can only awaken scorn. Love is the most powerful force and weapon there ever is in all the creation. It is adamant and not moved by anyone’s attempt to plead or persuade it against its object of affection. 

Love is that which defines God and all his creation. It is so sacred and is the supreme and highest commander of all the other virtues. Love hates to be despised or slighted. Love hates to be ignored or treated with levity. Love deserves nothing but the central and eternal focus of all labors as the reason and end of all human labors is to be found in love. For when man tills the earth, he tills it with love. When man dresses his garden, he does so with love. When a shepherd watches over his flock in the cold of the night or leads them out to green pastures or to watering, he does so being possessed with love. Some have lost love because of foolish pride, wickedness, evil heart, insensitivity or ignorance. Love is jealous and of utmost sensitivity so much so that that which is so sweet and heavenly becomes so bitter and agonizingly painful once the cord is broken.

“I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.

I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?

My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him.

I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.

I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.” – Songs 5:2-6

Carelessness, insensitivity, foolish pride and ego, selfishness and wickedness make us to lose love and when we have lost it how painful and how bitter we become and all creation seem to turn against us especially when such love is true and pure and sacred!
 

Love is the giver and procurer of the ultimate sacrifice!

OF HOOK-UP AND BREAK-UP SPECIALISTS

Strange but true Men and Women of God are nowadays playing the role of matchmakers. They are becoming hook-up specialists as well as break-up specialists. They have become masters of the art of manipulation. Did the Lord also give us that as part of the gospel assignment? Many spirits are gone out into the world!!! So be careful every one.

  One of the greatest lessons I learnt from my father in the Lord was absolute neutrality on issues of such nature no matter how the matter looks or however it is presented to you. I learnt that lesson so well that in over twenty years of ministry I have restrained or refrained in taking a stand whether the sister is the will of God for the brother or the brother is the will of God for the sister. The issue should be completely left to the parties concerned. No man and I repeat no man should ever have a say whether a relationship is of God or not except the parties involved. We have reached a stage in these last days where a Man or Woman of God becomes the ones that seek the face of God and receives the oracle of God concerning any proposal between any two intending couple. How totally out of line is this! Oh how I pity the brethren who submit to such things. There is no doubt that there is always a human element and sentiment that goes into such action.

 In cases where the couples are at loggerheads, pastors are never to take sides even when they feel an overwhelming evidence of let’s assume witchcraft, yet no man of God is empowered to break up any marriage on any grounds whatsoever. The parties must still go and pray and pray and pray to resolve their issues before God. If the parties decide to separate then let it be their own mutual decision devoid of any pastoral or outside influences whatsoever. 

 Today we have a company of Men and Women of God who will not want to lose an influential member and one who seem to give hugely into their coffers to marry outside the local church. In the past twenty years of my ministry I have seen these manipulative tendencies everywhere among the men and women behind the sacred desks. Some pastors are the obstacles to their members and God is my witness that I speak the truth. One begins to wonder why we have so much confusion trailing many homes today. Men and Women of God be careful, you are not called to be Hook-Up or Break-Up specialists! None of us should ever play God or feel we know better or are more compassionate than the Lord!

NIGERIA: END OF THE FIEFDOM!

Again I proceed with my thoughts after the pause in the last post. Let us look back at where the problem started not at where we are now. GEJ did not bring us where we are now. In the history of this Nigeria, this is the first time a leader is so harassed, insulted, disrespected and disdained and yet he is cool and calm. Who was ruling the country in the years when Fela, Beko, Gani Fawehinmi and a host of others agitating and calling for change of the status quo were hounded left and right and thrown into jails? Did the heavens fall then? Have we all forgotten so soon just because GEJ is in power. 

Those who ruled the country with no vision and no passion we still tolerated and today we still celebrate them and give them pride of place in the society. What kind of a country is this? Enough of the intrigues and power play and manipulation of the media and the uninformed masses! Let this northerners give respect to whom it is due. Nigeria is for all and not for them and NO ONE IS BORN TO RULE IN NIGERIA except God determines and approves it. Time has changed!!!

All the elected leaders of the South both at state and federal level must develop a thick backbone of resistance and speak out for a change of the status quo. Nigeria must be restructured. We must do away with the records when we counted goats and rams as members of a household and hold a clear computerized census to give us an accurate data of how many we are and who we are.

Our constitution is not a people document but the clear agenda of the fiefdom under the guise of carefully handpicked men. The secret of the restlessness is the fear that there is an executive power embedded with the presidency which even GEJ has not exploited at all and which should he decide to do so will restructure and reshape totally the system of the society and government. There should be equity in the number of states per zone and number of lawmakers from a zone to the national chamber or conversely legislative seats should be apportioned according to demography. These are the things that the North when they ruled did put in place for their own advantage. 

If the North does not trust any group or tribe then who should trust them?  The truth is they have never trusted any other group but themselves. They play a sophisticated politics of divide and rule and intimidation having perfect control of the security forces and all agencies of state. If it suits them they go to the South-South and manipulate them. At another time they go to the South-West and strike a deal under cover of intrigues just for nothing but the protection of their parochial interests. Then when they anticipate it may not go well for them in the South-West they cross over to the South-East with a story to tell. They have been the game players while others just were pawns in their chess game.

They make us beggars in our own country. Why should Nigerians not reason and reflect? Time has come and there shall be no turning back. Let them make all the noise they can make to alarm those whom they can alarm but every single Nigerian who believes in the destiny of Nigeria must stand up to this fiefdom of evil, corruption, nepotism, religious fundamentalism and oppression.

“We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.” – Psalm 74:9

What we need desperately now in Nigeria is the voice of the prophets. You may agree with me or choose to disagree but that will still not change the truth. We need the divine oracles to speak order for once over this land. Nigeria needs healing. Nigeria needs deliverance. Nigeria needs restoration and a time of refreshing for all the traumatic years its people have endured. There is need for cleansing for so much innocent blood has been shed upon this land!

Let us pause again...…

NIGERIA: FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR!

What I write here now is a clear and direct message to those who have the ears to hear and for those who have the ears that hear not. The bloodletting in the North of Nigeria and the complete silence of their leaders is nothing but a testament to a grand conspiracy to instill fear and take over the destiny of Nigeria by force and reprogram the future of Nigeria completely to suit a hidden agenda.

The word of the Lord is clear that for the wickedness of the people and for the blood of the innocent that was shed the land shall become barren as a visitation of God's judgement. There shall be calamities and misfortunes, great famines and pestilence upon man and beast. We have seen this before and we shall see this again but this time it will be horrendous. God alone will defend his people and He alone will fight for them.

This is a clear warning now to all those who clearly are having double faces and who will also not escape the wrath that is coming. It is time the people who have no understanding come to some understanding not by might nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord.

 " until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will"

"And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:  He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him."

Let those who are restless as bullocks unaccustomed to the yoke begin to learn and yield themselves to the yoke for God has changed the times and the seasons of the people and the land. The wicked shall no longer bear rule by their own means!

Thus it is declared and thus it is written!!!

The Mystery of Love! Part 1

Love is life. Love is not a game or sport of any kind. It is a sacred cord that binds the soul together. A lot of people take love for granted such as playing hide and seek, hard to get, the “you got to earn me” kind of mentality and so on and so forth.

This is all patterned after the contrary or equivalent which the adversary of love itself has presented to the world making a mockery of that which is true and pure and divine. We see people fall in love if there is an advantage to be gained materially or financially. Others love if there is any social status attached to be gained while others are propelled by the insatiable lust after sex and beauty.

 Some have trampled upon true love despising its sensitivity while others have betrayed its trust to the slightest inclinations. If love is jealous it is because love itself is a sanctified or holy feeling that refuses or detests defilement by an intrusive party not in the original bond of initiation. If love is jealous it is because God himself is a jealous God and His name is Jealous.

 So let us say love is a jealous feeling desiring to treasure and defend and preserve and protect those in that covenant from an outside element that may seek to defile, steal, kill or destroy the bond. Love is life and life is love. What would life be without love? For love is expressed in life, and life finds its meaning and reaches its bloom through love!  I wonder if there be any one born or created that seeks not the fulfillment that love brings. There can be no fulfillment of any life until that life is first fulfilled in love. 

That love is blind means that it does not take any knowledge of any shortcomings or weaknesses, social status or financial or material gain. It is not influenced by family background or lineage or tribe or race and neither is it drawn to any intellectual prowess or skill but is pure in its passion and unconquerable virtue and resolve. Love sees no barriers or boundaries of time, space and age!

That my friends are the beginning of the mysteries, that I would be unfolding to us in these series. Shalom my friends!

NIGERIA: CHANGE THE SYSTEM!

I had to write this piece in response to a lot of  unenlightend radical opinion going on over the social media and in response to a comment credited to the wife of a late Human Rights Activist.

The issues that we must be addressing is not about changing GEJ. He may be hated but he did not create the system called Nigeria and he can not change it in a jiffy or fix the rot in a few months or years in office. Nigeria has foundational problems and that is basically what we must discuss and address. The eternal word of God declares "if the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do". Nigeria must be restructured whether the North likes it or not. They ruled for over 38 years non stop and no one could talk freely against them as every one is now doing against GEJ. Let the truth be told they are trying to Sacrifice GEJ and make it seem as if no one else can rule Nigeria better than they who claim they were born to rule. They control the wealth and the resources of Nigeria while the people are beaten down. Mrs Ganiat Fawehinmi can have her own opinion but she should remember who and who were ruling or misruling Nigeria when her husband was agitating and fighting the system and being persecuted and thrown into jail now and then.

 Nigeria's problem did not start with GEJ and it was not going to fixed by any executive fiat in just four years. If it be so why did OBJ leave a mess and not fix things in eight years even though he wanted to be there for twelve years and how is it that it is now that every one is waking from slumber and talking. Now every one expects what OBJ was not able to fix in eight years GEJ should just fix in four years. Let us all be reasonable and fair and realize that the rottenness in the system was systematically created to favour the "establishment" and the so called "born to rule" who headed absolutely every board and every institution.

 Let me make it clear that what GEJ can not do no man from the North can do. People are clamoring for Buhari deodorizing the atmosphere with his stern and principled anti-corruption stand but the truth is that the real "dude" who stood for cleansing and reordering of the system was Tunde Idiagbon. Why was Tunde Idiadgon eliminated and why did they not want his second return when OBJ who knew his worth and principle wanted to bring him into service?

There are more questions than answers that we all have to face in Nigeria. I am a prophet and I have been shown a lot of things about this nation and would not be among those who keep silent when evil is holding sway. We love Nigeria but there are those whose vision of Nigeria is nothing but that of a milking cow and a company that they have acquired for profit to their own cronies and generation. These people are in league with foreign powers and governments. They do not see Nigeria as a country or a nation that is to be built.

 People should come out and tell us with all the investment that OBJ made into the power sector if we had better power and more generation than we have today under GEJ. For the avoidance of doubt I am not a GEJ mouth piece or apologist. People know I am not impressed with his style and rate of performance and I have said that clearly to him even here on Facebook and elsewhere. But let it be drummed into the ears of every Nigerian that there are a clique who are determined to make the country ungovernable and to frustrate all good intentions of GEJ just so that he does not leave a memorial that will speak for all to see the difference between 38 years of  North rule and four years of GEJ.

They have seen the handwriting on the wall,  Nigerians were getting more enlightened by the day. Now it is all about calling a dog a bad name in order to hang it. The issue here is simple  that Nigerians after the traumatic years of oppression, misrule and bad and inept governance had placed so much hope on GEJ. He was the hope of the common man, the old forsaken "hags" adorning the villages and remotest corners of the nation. He saw it and he held to them a promise but the fight was not only GEJ's to fight. It must be the fight of all Nigerians who wants to break free from the tyrannical rule devoid of equity and the fear of God.

Why are Churches also the targets and the people perceived to be his people at the receiving end of the hatred? Why should Nigerians who are so learned and who are the brightest and smartest of the black race be so dumb, blind and ignorant to that which happens right under their own nose. Prof. Pat Utomi said it few years ago "Let us crash the system" I believed this highly lettered and well exposed and rightly connected man knew what he was saying. The Nigerian system as it is today can not work for the people but for only those who have set it up for themselves. We got a long road to cover to arrive at nationhood and how much time we have we do not yet know! I pray for Nigeria and I wish Nigeria to survive and rise from the ashes of decay and be set free from those who are scared that they might lose their hold upon it forever! Let us pause here for now..!
