UPON THE WATCH
THE CALL TO JAMBOREE PRAYERS!
That is what I call it when you send me your invitation to join in prayers for a country like Nigeria! I call it jamboree prayers.
Thirty years, during the time of Archbishop Benson ldahosa of blessed memory to the bandwagon "Nigeria Prays" by chief genocidist Yakubu Gowon who is yet to openly confess his atrocities, it has been nothing but a jamboree of all sorts.
I do not pray for the sake of praying religiously. So many pray ignorantly without counsel from the Lord. Many are brainwashed with religious sentiments and fake patriotism based on political and social jargons and sloganeering.
I once led some of this prayers openly and privately until the day dawned on me and the day star arose in my heart to discern between the counsel of man and the holy counsel.
Then true ministers of our God must cease being politically correct and pandering to politicians and despotic rulers or they cease being the Oracle and mouthpiece of the Most High God!
We can never be the servants of God and be politically correct in pleasing men! We must seek the counsel that is true and faithful which reveals the purpose and determination as it relates to times and seasons, peoples and nations within the inspired written history of the world.
There are times when certain nations and kingdoms must cease to exist and others must rise up in their stead. Such is the case of Nigeria. The only prayer that is worth praying for Nigeria is that it dismantles in peace and NOT that the fake unity should continue.
There are those whose job it is to attack truth but I do not waste my time with such persons. Truth as far as I know is like a lion that needs no defence from another.
We live in the time when we must clearly demarcate between light and darkness, and between error and truth. We must discern the appointed times and seasons.
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." - Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV
