THE DAY HAS DAWNED!
"Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people."

Haa, when shall this once be said about Nigeria.
My heart is sad and burdened.
Lives are wasted everyday by heartless, cruel and evil men and their hired hands
Daily my people suffer and bleed to death
In a land blessed with resources above any other nation
My people have become beggars and zombies
They beg for light and water as if for luxuries
They young maidens are abducted and used as bargaining chips
By the power hungry oligarchy who have no soul
They are like the dregs and offscourings of the earth
Held captives by the greedy and most corrupt of the human race
A greedy mob of self serving kleptomaniacs
All in a jungle race for power and empirical domination
We buried not our slain in open view of the starry skies with any dignity
Because not a soul of my people was worth a penny
As they were trucked as beef is packed and trucked
Yet they gallivant and strut before us and the world
With no conscience and no shame as elites and political beasts
We are finished if we do not stir ourselves from this slumber
For the day has long dawned
Prophets and teachers, farmers and scholars
Oh Nigerians this is your hour of deliverance
Stop idolizing the wasters of your present
And free the future of your children
Like the sons of Issachar
Who had understanding of the times.
The day has dawned!
